The installation is not an object, but an experience — a sensory journey. It invites us to touch, to feel, to lose our breath in the face of the ephemeral. - Emma Alcalá
My artistic pillars
Beyond the object
An experience that invites you to feel, discover and experience.
Artistic installations are not just works to observe: they are worlds that open up before you and invite you to enter. Spaces designed to be lived in, where the spectator becomes an active part of the experience. There is no single meaning, nor a single reading; there are emotions that are activated, memories that are hinted at, questions that arise.
Through the play between space, materials and perception, installations can surprise, move or unsettle. They can be delicate or imposing, silent or sonorous, but they always seek an intimate bond with those who traverse them. In them, art ceases to be a distant object to become an enveloping, tangible presence that transforms according to who experiences it.
